Syrup time ! I just finished boiling the maple sap I made this year. Last year, I filled four mason jars of syrup with one tree (at our old house). This year, I filled one mason jar of syrup with two trees (at our new house). Bad season. This year, we did most of the boiling with propane and finished it on our new induction range top. The syrup is much clearer than the dark one I made last year. The large container in the photos was not full. It had only a few inches of sap in it.
