I hate arc-fault breakers ! They trip at nothing. I've had the one for my office outlets trip. I heard my water cooler stop and my UPS beep. At first, I thought we had a power outage, but my ceiling light was still on. I figured it was the breaker. So I ran two floors down to the panel and turned the breaker back on. My UPS probably needs a new battery. It lost 2/5 of its battery in 30 seconds. Bad. I will definitely be replacing that breaker with a normal one. We already did that to my mom's office because her printer would trip the breaker (almost) every time she wanted to print. Even our electrician knows these breakers are bad. At his own house, he only used normal breakers. But legally, he is required by electrical codes to use arc-fault breakers almost everywhere. That sucks.
